The Problem

Why Cyprus bureaucracy breaks most expats

The same three problems, over and over, for anyone moving here.

  1. Scattered information

Guidelines in Facebook groups are outdated, contradictory and impossible to verify.

  2. Missing papers

One missing printout means waiting three more months for a new immigration slot.

  3. Overpriced consultants

Local agents charge hundreds of euros just to hand you a paper form.

The Solution

Three moves, and the paperwork is behind you

  1. 1

    Step 1

Why this exists

VM
“I moved to Cyprus in 2024. I wasted months on conflicting advice, missing forms, and €300/hour consultants who just pointed at links. So I built the relocation guide I wish I had — with every fact linked to the official source.”

Common questions

How long does the Yellow Slip take?+

The Migration Department states the application must be submitted within four months of arrival and that a decision is issued within one month of a complete application. Settle Cyprus does not change those timelines — it makes sure your form and documents are complete on the first attempt.

Do I need a lawyer?+

The MEU1 registration is designed to be filed by the applicant. Settle Cyprus prepares the form and the document checklist for you. It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice — for a disputed or unusual case, talk to a licensed Cypriot immigration lawyer.

Is my data secure?+

Your details and generated forms are stored on EU-hosted infrastructure (Supabase), encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Generated PDFs live in a private bucket and are handed to you through a link that expires in 5 minutes. We never sell your data.

Can I get a refund?+

You can cancel within 14 days of purchase and get a full refund — no reason needed, no conditions. Email us and the payment is returned to the card you paid with. This does not limit your statutory rights under EU consumer law.

Which processes do you cover?+

The step-by-step roadmap covers 14: Yellow Slip, Tax ID (TIC), GESY Healthcare, Bank Account, Social Insurance, Driving License, Vehicle, Property, Utilities, Company Formation, Sole Trader Registration, VAT Registration, Non-Dom Status, Annual Tax Filing. Company formation and the MEU2 permanent residence certificate are not roadmaps — the AI assistant can answer questions about them, but there is no guided checklist for either.
